Varanasi: After Rudraksh International Convention Centre, now a glimpse of Lord Shiva and Kashi will be seen in the new international cricket stadium being built in Varanasi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi is coming to Kashi on September 23 to gift the sports lovers of Purvanchal an international cricket stadium in his parliamentary constituency Varanasi. Great cricket players like Sachin Tendulkar, Sunil Gavaskar,Ravi Shastri, Gundappa Vishwanath will also be present during the foundation stone laying ceremony of the international stadium, which will have a capacity of 30 thousand spectators. Apart from this, many officials including BCCI President Roger Binny, Vice President Rajeev Shukla and Secretary Jai Shah will also be present. This stadium will be built in about 30 months on 30.86 acres near Ring Road in Ganjari village of Arajiline development block at a cost of Rs 451 crore.

The stadium will become a unique confluence of religious architecture

After Kanpur and Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh, the shape of the international stadium to be built in Kashi will be half-moon shaped, in which the flood lights installed will be in the shape of a trident. The design of Belpatra will be seen in the building, the shape of Damru will also be seen in the design of the stadium. There will be a spectator gallery like the stairs of Ganga Ghat. Before this, the Rudraksh International Convention Centre built in Kashi was constructed in the shape of Shivling, which has 108 Rudraksh beads.During his short visit to Kashi for about four hours, the Prime Minister will participate in a programme organized at Rudraksh International Convention Centre. He will inaugurate the Atal Residential Schools built by the Uttar Pradesh Government in 16 districts and will also interact with the students.Apart from this, he will also watch the cultural programmes being performed by the children in the Kashi Sansad Cultural Festival. The Prime Minister will leave the city after visiting an exhibition organized by the Uttar Pradesh Labour Department.
